Lugazi Uganda Feb newsletter

  Greeting from Lugazi,     February was a bit slower pace that January although there was plenty to do.  We didn't travel as much and I never left Lugazi.  Pastor Tiondi went to Masindi the beginning of the month to deal with some issues in the Church. They were able to be quickly and successfully resolves.  We are now planning for a conference and crusade there in April. Part of the reason we weren't traveling much was that on February 8th, Pastor Tiondi and 2 others were in a roll over accident on the way back from taking Pastor Moses to be with his family.  They all walked away from the accident with cuts and bruises.  Pastor injured his shoulder but the x-ray was clear but it was very painful for a couple of weeks. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and praise God he was fine.  The other passenger was bruised pretty badly but is okay.  They were treated at the Iganga Hospital for shock and small laceration...

Africa Jan 2022

  Greetings to all! It has been a very busy January, but it looks like we get to slow just a little bit in February. The school is now open and we have almost 150 students.  This is really good although most of them are in the nursery classes, ages 3-5 years.  We need more in the upper primary to even things out, but it is getting hard to find places to put them.  We have had to reorganize and change classes and classrooms many times, but I think it is finally settled.  We hired a new head teacher and she is very good, but a bit overwhelmed because she has had to take on the full responsibility of enrollment and accounting since Kevin quit.  I help wherever I can but she has to be the one to talk to the parents as they come in.  Mostly I run errands and make sure we have all the supplies we need.  Usually this means going to town and school twice a day.  I also do the morning devotions and the weekly Chapel service.  Then on ...
